Lesley Vogel's solo exhibition will celebrate the extraordinary diversity of the Australian landscape. Larger works will allow a glimpse into enormous spaces, while smaller pieces allow closer examination of this varied land and Lesley's assured technique. For Lesley, the exhibition is an extension of her interest in the colours in nature and our response to them.
"I am continually fascinated by the fact that we have desert, snowscapes, rainforest, beautiful beaches and lush plains within such close proximity," she says. "I love the strong colours and the light of the Australian landscape. I try to use them within my work to create a sense of radiant energy."
